I’m Back!

I’m back!

I sort of took a detour there, but I wasn’t sitting on my butt.

Over the past two and a half-ish years, I:

  • Graduated from college
  • Worked full time as a content writer (since promoted to Senior Content Writer, woo-hoo!) for a healthcare organization in Nashville
  • Adopted a hedgehog, two cats, and a dog (oops)
  • Got engaged
  • Bought a house
  • Spent a lot of time on my travel blog, 50statesby25.com.

Now I’m looking for ways to expand my content portfolio by taking on some interesting projects and find a way to afford my mortgage, my wedding, and all those vet bills.

You’ll notice that I’ve done a lot of rearranging on this site. My content portfolio is newer, brighter, and up-to-date. My blog has been relocated and I plan on building on it with posts that are way more interesting than this one. My songwriting portfolio has been moved to the sidebar in the form of a SoundCloud plugin.

Most importantly, I’ve added a new “contact” section in the form of a “work with me” page. On this page, you’ll find my general pricing list, the ways in which I accept payment, and more information about my services. I would LOVE to work with you. I’ve done plenty of freelance content work through UpWork, but it will be cheaper for all parties involved if I accept work directly through this website (no additional fees, yay!).

So let’s get this party started. If you or anyone you know owns a business or has a school paper that needs a set of eyes on it, let’s talk about what I can do to help.

I’m looking forward to creating high-quality content with you. #contentisking
